No school for Campbell County Schools Monday, December 15. This is a traditional cancellation, and no virtual instruction (NTI) will take place.

Winter Weather: Cancellations, Make-Ups, and NTI Days

To support student learning and help families plan ahead, the following information outlines weather-related cancellations, make-up days, and NTI (Non-Traditional Instruction).

Campbell County Schools has received KDE approval for up to 10 NTI days. However, we believe in-person instruction is most effective for student learning. Historically, feedback from both our community and staff has reflected a preference for limiting the use of virtual instruction whenever possible.

Weather-related cancellations this year:
Snow Day 1, December 2nd: The last day for students moved to May 22nd
Snow Day 2, December 12th: The last day for students moved to May 26th (May 25th is Memorial Day)
Snow Day 3, December 15th: The last day for students will move to May 27th

In the event of additional cancellations:
Make-up days will continue to be held to utilize in-person instruction.
If cancellations exceed five days, the district will most likely move to NTI days. (Electrical outages and other factors could impact this.)

Our commitment remains to prioritize in-person learning for students, while using NTI days if absolutely necessary.
