Principal's Message

Philosophy Statement – The Alexandria Educational Center values the client’s/student’s knowledge and skills gained with the assistance of group and individual counseling that is centered on treatment within a highly structured educational setting.  With this assistance, the clients/students will be better able to make decisions that are both socially acceptable and ones that will propel them to success.  Staff, within their individual roles, will strive to help students understand that their decisions today, both behavioral and academic, will continue to have an impact on their lives in the future and with proper decisions made today, they will have a better chance of achieving their goals and fulfilling their ambitions.  We acknowledge the importance of not only the individual but also those that have a direct impact on the student’s life, and we will endeavor to include them in the therapeutic process and to inform them of the progress towards treatment and academic goals and objectives.
